Long-time ’60 Minutes’ host Mike Wallace died on Saturday at a care facility where he had been living in recent years, according to CBS News. Wallace was 93.
His career spanned six decades and included some of television’s most memorable interviews and reports. He was slowed after a 2006 heart operations, but continued to contribute to ’60 Minutes’ after his departure.
Wallace is survived by a wife, son, step-son, and step-daughter. Funeral plans are pending.
